A Clarification

assalamualaikum

as mentioned previously, for this post, i would like to explain a little bit about "the meeting". "what meeting?", said by anonymous. it's a meeting, held to build plans to save the mankind. yes. indeed. or in smaller perspective, it's a meeting to save our friends, family and nation. it's not an official meeting though. thinking of the word "meeting", i'm sure this picture would appear in your head now,
a meeting
but then, "the meeting" i'm talking about is much much much more different although the concept is basically the same. people meet and talk and give out their opinions and a person would talk to present their ideas and so many and's. and this "meeting" can be done basically everywhere. not just in a room, in a car, around the table etc. it's quite flexible actually. "enough with the quoting already!". okay, just a little bit more. bear with me.
the difference between the meeting shown above and the "meeting" i'm talking about is in the relationship that occur between the people in the meeting. in normal meeting, such as above, the meeting goes on, and when it ends, everyone return to their original places. i mean, everyone just get back to work and think about their own problem.
however, the "meeting" i'm talking about is very special. the meeting, if directly translated, can be pronounced as "family". magical. it's like attending a family meeting. you can get along with others. get some advice about life and ask about things you don't understand. the main idea in this family meeting is to propose and plan a way to help others who are not joined. in other words, expanding the family.
i dont know who these guys are, but just an example of a big family i'm talking about
family members with different backgrounds with the same goal. yes.

about the turning point i've mentioned before, unfortunately, that would be next time. buddy called, it's time to go. where to?

It's Been Awhile

assalamualaikum,

yes, it' been quite awhile since my last post. joining JAD took away all the time for relaxation and blog. everyday is a tough day filled with tests and quizzes. it's hell in here, but you know what they say, "when you are going through hell, keep going". yes, and i'm gonna do that. so, why the sudden post? there's nothing special but just a short story of mine.

this program is really tough. lots of mental and physical challenges but at the same time filled with lots of joy. countless memories had been made until today and recalling all those things had blown away the nasty part. lots of thing had occurred to me, and it changes me a lot. i have a different way of thinking now and my views on certain aspects are different now.
the one who had been sponsoring JAD program until now

there's something in here that i believe i won't be able to receive it if i'm not here by now. there's something in here that my thoughts alone won't make it through. i've been attending this special "meeting" right here in JAD and this "meeting" had opened my eyes to see things that i've never seen before. it's not some sort of secret conspiracy but just something that is new from my perspective but old to others.
the "meeting"

this thing, this "meeting", i believe this is my turning point and i'm still drifting along the corner and i'm sure it won't be an easy turn. but insyaallah, my drifting momentum shall continue until the end of the corner. insyaallah, i shall post more information about this "thing" in my next upcoming post. when would it be? it'll be there when the time is right.
drift on!!!

i had my japanese speaking exam today. it was.... err, let's hope for the best shall we? and coming up next is the final exam of the semester and it won't be eaaaaaaaaasy. do pray for me. until next time.

Sweet

assalamualaikum.

first and foremost, judging from the time interval from my last post, seems like I've stopped blogging.
let me be the first to tell you guys, that's not true.
my not-so-new life here in beranang is ridiculously hectic and stressful.
every single minute has its own work to be done and to be passed up at the next minute.
it's not like i don't have "life" here.
it's just that, there are so many things to be done and i'm still finding a grip to hold on for even just awhile.
in the weekdays, lesson starts from 8am and then finishes at 5pm with just an hour lunch break at 1.15pm.
believe me the studying never stops even in the weekends. the amount of ridiculously hard assignments and works are countless and it keeps coming without any sign of stopping.
therefore, i guess i have my rights to stop posting some new things for awhile.
time is gold - this phrase works wonder in here and to think that I've never treated my time nicely before.
time sure flies.
insyaallah there'll be another post. hopefully.

So I Left..

assalamualaikum..

after the mischievous interview with the ypm (yayasan pelajaran mara) representatives, i received a call two days after the interview. i earned myself a full scholarship from ypm for the jad programme (japanese associated degree), (supposed to be "associate" without the letter "d" but i can't help myself). and some calls from those people knowing that i earned the scholarships with the same question. "are you going or not?".

if i go for the jad programme, i'll spend my next 3 years in kktm beranang and with a good result i can spend the next 2 years of my life in japan. hoooray, sounds nice but i'm already used to utp!

therefore, as usual, the voices came to disturb my conscious mind. "japan!japan!japan!" and after a few discussions with these people, somehow i changed my mind and made myself a decision that changed my life forever. "mom, let's go".

goodbye utp and hello kktm beranang, i was expecting something that can make my leave worthy. here goes nothing. the voices, seriously not helping at all.

Oh My GPS..

3 June 2012

assalamualaikum.

a few days earlier i received a call from ypm (yayasan pelajaran mara) asking whether i would like to attend an interview to earn myself a full scholarship from ypm for the jad programme (japanese associated degree). the operator gave me 5 hours of thinking and my head began to buzz for that day. my phone's credit started to flew away quite fast as i tried to get everyone's opinions which were not helpful at all. actually i don't really want to go for neither the interview or the scholarship. but, oh yes my greedy blood strikes again. "mom, let's try".

okay, 3rd of june. it's the day before the interview and the interview will be held in kolej kemahiran tinggi mara beranang, selangor. so i was like, "where the heck is beranang, never heard of this place before". and my sister was like, "no worries, we got gps". and i was like, "awesome, we'll reach there in no time". so we set the gps for the kktm beranang but the name beranang was never there. therefore, we simply put kktm in selangor.

not used to the complicated highways of kuala lumpur, my father got dizzy of driving and we got lost inside kuala lumpur highways simply because of the multiple junctions of the highway. dont blame him, blame the signboards! even the gps is useless at that time because the gps-readers in the car were not sure of their readings and cant tell my father on when to make a turn on time.

finally we reached kktm... petaling jaya. thank you gps. y u no show kktm beranang!? so we asked for directions. thanks to the policemen of balai polis kajang, we finally know where we should speed off to. a total of 10 hours were spent in the car as we finally arrived in beranang. oh gps. it was like 12am and we took a rest in a hotel near kktm beranang. man it was a long drive!

A Day Without Any Class

assalamualaikum,
as mentioned in the title, i have no class at all for today and i'm now like.. " wooooooooooooohoooooooooo"
unfortunately, the rear tyre of my bike is punctured so i need to walk if i need to go somewhere.
walking? good for your health? ya right, walking for some kilometers under the bright sun that give out ultra-violet rays? i don't see how's that called healthy. o_o
a.k.a MPPUTP

anyway, i tried my luck applying for a membership in MPPUTP. MPPUTP, majlis perwakilan pelajar utp or commonly known as the student's ambassador. it is one of the important student body for the utp students. without these guys, the lives of the utp students will not be as smooth as today. these guys won't receive any merits but they're still serve the MPPUTP sincerely without asking for any paybacks. therefore, joining this team with good intentions would easily increase your rewards(pahala) to prepare for the afterlife. insyaallah.

uhh, finally the cold flu got me after i've tried resisting it for about 5 months. kinda weird because tronoh is a very hot place and the rain rarely occurs but instead of getting a heat fever, i got myself a cold flu. alhamdulillah i can still do my works as usual and i hope i can recover back as soon as possible.

A New Life

Assalamualaikum..
UTP Logo
17th May 2012
Dressing in a formal outfit with a black tie, I went to register myself as a new student at Universiti Teknologi Petronas for the May 2012 Intake. My injuries are still bleeding sometimes and I need to wrap my left foot with bandages in order to wear shoes. Seriously, it was excruciating. Fortunately my right leg is injured around the knee so I don't have to wrap both of my feet. Eh, not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing o_o"

Allocated in Etana-01-09 of Village 6. Three students per room. A room smaller than any room I have ever seen. Leaving these three students stuffed and packed. Plus, the hot weather worsens our conditions. Alhamdulillah, our room has two fans instead of one that can cool us out a bit.

Three students in the same room, all with different courses in their foundation studies.
Aizadt - Mechanical Engineering
Safwan - Chemical Engineering
Mard - Petroleum Engineering

The Trio
Believe it or not. The room Etana-01-09 is just like a reunion room for these three students. They used to go to the same school in their primary and lower secondary education. However they split up during the higher secondary education as each of them moved to different states in Malaysia to pursue their studies. And now, here they are again, united to face the new life challenges in Universiti Teknologi Petronas with hopes and dreams for a better life in the future.

Alhamdulillah, I don't have to sit to perform solat anymore but I still can't wear any shoes yet thus making me the most "otai" freshman in UTP that wears slippers all the time.

Assalamualaikum..
